SASSY ROAD AHEAD!!!

Well there just went another three or more weeks!  Wow, how they go by, really? I am hoping everyone was able to enjoy the 4th of July holiday. I for one did take this weary body and mind and forced her to lay out by the pool and enjoyed the heat and sun. All I can say is there needs to be more of me!!!

I just can't keep up with myself and my mind these days.....

I have ended the chapter of resin pendants for " now" even thou I probably could make more, it's time to show my sassy but classy side and have now moved onto my newest venture. Yep, they just keep rollin in..

Well I really am excited with my new shadow box pendants and necklaces that will have all my sassy ways, and will all be interchangeable just as with the resin pendants. I believe in mixing it up. Everyone has that side to them just let it out and speak your mind or wear what you think in this case!!!.  Never feel that you will be judged, if you are its usually by the people who can't let their inner self out.  Remember, being able to admit you have that to you makes you interesting.

When your being talked about whether good or bad you have been noticed and your unique you is showing.
It's what makes life interesting and different. Everyone brings something to the table of life. We should all enjoy the unique way we use it.


I am having fun with the new pendants, but as always working  in between life can be challenging so it is taking a little longer then I want but I guess all good things will come...... Well I made a sample of the first few and am wearing them with my suede leather, pearl and even chain linked necklace combinations.I pleased so far and love feedback whether good or bad it only helps improve on things and tweak my visions.







There are fronts and backs to the pendants and will have a little sparkle to give them the classy side. They can be dressed up or down depending on what you choose to do and have you feel. I am hoping to have them added to the store by weeks end or beginning of the next.




Now, inbetween that I have been busy with my line of limited men's semi precious bead necklaces.  I love a man who can wear a necklace that is different and a little edgy. With summer being here its the best time to show off colors on sun kissed skin. They will come in 20" and 26"in lengths take a peek.....

Now, I also have some very exciting news, to share! The beautiful and multi talented recording artist Danielle Barbe tweeted that in her upcoming video she will be wearing Twisted Gems Designs! I am so honored to have her wear my creations and make them even more beautiful with her beauty and talent. She truly brings the unique factor to the table and Twisted is proud to back her!!!!!!! NEW SUMMER IDEAS IN THE WORKS!!!!!

Whazzzzz Up everyone?
Funny how two weeks seems to just fly by and I still have so much more to get done..... I guess being creative never stops. I'm hoping that everyone enjoyed the Memorial Day long weekend.  I know I did and couldn't ask for a better summer start then a few hot sunny days. Now with summer coming in strong it's got me wanting to accessorize to the max! My brain is working overtime. I just started to clean up the glitter explosion from all over house and in turn came across some beautiful metal spacers with Swarovski crystals and since the layering and grouping is back in style in jewelry accessories ( "what's old is new again") I envisioned some really smokin hot ROCKIN looks!! With colors and  natural neutrals Oh this is gonna be fun... and as always the store will carry limited runs so everyone can accessorize and show the world just how different they are.

With finishing up the resin pendant sayings and quotes, I'm moving into "hammering" out metal designs now with designs believing that people should always stand by what they believe in, and this will give people just that, been busy working on more unique one of a kind dog tags to accessorize summer outfits!! Layers layers and more layers of : Shimmer, Shine, Metal, String, Crystals, Stones, oh my!, have I forgot anything?? Now with adding a mens line my boys have also gotten into the craze of suede necklaces pendants and wrap and stone designed bracelets. Guess, they should reap the benefits of a mom that just can't stop. LOL!! At least I can control their style to a point and guide them a little. They are going to be cool looking teens.

Well again, the weeks fly by and I'm off to work the thoughts into physical form for all to enjoy!!! Have a great upcoming weekend and week and remember, that being different is what makes the world interesting.......Don't just say it do and mean it!!!!!!!

A NEW WEEK!!!!!

Hoping everyone had a great two weeks and Mothers Day was celebrated with your mothers!
The last two weeks has brought me even more things to think about! I was out shopping with my daughter one night and I think finally she is swaying to my way of thinking regarding clothes style and so forth. Gotta, wonder how some designs ever make it to the stores sometimes.... I noticed racks and racks of stuff that had clearance tags and still weren't flying off the racks.

I guess I just believe that clothing can be simple its takes shape with the style we all put forward and accessories we feel express who we are.  I think if we taught our children to feel confident about themselves more often while they were growing and finding themselves instead of trying so hard to keep up with the Jones there just would be much more beauty around.

Anyway, getting back to accessories now, I unleashed new mens stretch bracelets this weekend still in the testing phases but gotta say I am liking what is transforming.  These like everything else will be one of a kind designs that wont be reproduced unless I have excess beads. Even men need to know that they can "rock" a look and not have to follow the crowd. When you wear something you like you bring personality to the accessories. NEW VENTURES!!!!!!!!!!

Well, hello everyone!

Testing the waters in yet another world... Amazing what can be done with today's resources to reach so many people all over the globe. For everyone who knows me "HERE I GO AGAIN", and for all who don't, I love designing jewelry,accessories, and even clothing in all my spare time which isn't much. I work almost full time, have three children who are very active in sports and school, and a mind that keeps me up nights thinking of new things to design, a blessing and a curse at times making it hard to sit still. I have been doing it ever since I can remember. I started by tweaking things I owned when I was in my teens to how I wanted them to look on  me, always thinking outside the box even thou I colored inside the lines.  I love to be unique and "NORMAL" is highly over rated in my book. But, as we all know sometimes life steps in with speed bumps along the way having to grow-up, get a job, marriage, kids,home etc..... and desires and dreams sometimes take a back seat, but I never stopped and hence that is how I formed Twisted Gems Designs.

I believe that anyone can do what they set their minds to you just have to try!  The words {I can't} are something I don't say often and when I do I know I have exhausted all my resources. At least I will always be able to say I tried and either it works or it doesn't. With that being said I figured this was a way to let myself talk and get out what I am thinking weekly on ideas and designs that stream in my head and around us all.

Step 1

So let's get started The last two weeks I have been working on new designs of resin interchangeable charms\pendants for my line. The line of course sparkles with quotes! Everything, I design are unique and one of a kind ideas & shapes with quotes that mean something different to all who own my pieces. When I started this venture with the charms\pendants as anything you see things around you, and I just didn't see what I thought expresses me but very simple cookie cut outs. Boring and way to expensive. What sets us apart is our perception on how we view things, style etc.  Most, don't have the ability and it is just easier to pick from the mass quantities that are out there, but to each his own and to the rest embrace it. At first my ideas of the designs flowed faster in my head then how to form them.  I thought of all kinds of ways to make the molds and couldn't but where there is a will there is a way I was sure of it. So with that being said I found clay that was flexible to make my shapes and made my own molds now the possibilities are endless. As with anything it is a trial and error everyday and does take time to design the pendant to it's destination of jewelry . I try to put all my effort into forming a piece I myself would wear. And trust me I am my worst own critic so if I wear it I feel others will too.
